Welcome to The Gear Forum "Do Something Challenge" - Season 10 Week 7
Well I must admit, slowest season in a long time for me as well. No details, but let's just say that I know the inside of a few hospitals a lot better after the past two weeks ;~(( I will definitely have something weak for Week 7 ;~)) Get on it folks, we need to HEAR THAT GEAR, only this week and one more week left in Season X! This 10th season will run through Saturday Dec 06, 2025 for a total of 8 weeks of glorious tones. We will then break for the holidays and start up again in 2026 (where we will go to ELEVEN) ;~))

Kudos to JasonE for stepping up to the Challenge for his first entry! So glad you made it and looking forward to many more! Props to Aleksi and FuzzyAce for their first Season X entries, awesome to see you two on the board ;~))

Long and short is, this is a Challenge to YOU and all other TGF members to MAKE SOME NOISE (aka Music but some may question that) and share it with our small dot in the Universe. This is intended as a motivation to create something rather than ramble on about gear that you have acquired to create something with ;~)) Nobody here is looking for or expecting masterpieces, radio quality, etc., we are just trying to encourage our community to create and share at whatever level they are currently at, it is ALL GOOD!
So get on it people, original song, cover song or a wank/riff/lick/jam! Remember that with each submission, I would like you to insert a tag (that is a text string with a # sign in front of it). This helps me to count and validate the count of the submits for the Challenge. It is very simple! If you submit a Cover Song, put the following tag in your submit post - #Cover. If you submit an original song, put a #Orig tag in your post. For a wank/riff/lick/jam submission, use the #WRLJ tag. If you forget to put it into your post, simply go back and "Edit" your post by clicking on the "Edit" link in the lower left of your post and type or paste into that post the appropriate tag, it's not difficult people! Very simple very easy! If you need definition of what any of these categories are, refer to the Season 9 Introduction post for details! And as usual, Season progress and previous Season info/results can be found at this link (results are generally entered at the end of each week so don't expect your entry from last night to already be in there, it is not a real time spreadsheet)! Week 7 for this season will end on November 29, 2025 at 11:59pm HT. Week 8 (final week for Season X) will start on November 30, 2025 at 12:00 am ET (yes, I know there is some overlap - deal with it).
So getcha groove on, set all controls to 11, hit record and let us hear your creations!!!
