First of all thanks in advanced for any suggestions. Our band has it's first gig for a Toys for Tots fundraiser at a local bar. We are going to be one of about 6-8 bands playing that day. TBH, we are probably not as tight as we should be, but we are going on first and need the experience playing someplace other than the practice shed. Plus, its a fundraiser and they aren't paying us anything so Fuck it:rofl

I need to clean up my presets for the gig and I want to create a presets where I can run my SC20H through the effects loop on the stomp in 4CM, but I already have a few other presets that I run to just the return of the effects loop. I mainly use my Dual Rec and the Marshall presets which I wont need the Marshalls any longer if this works, but I def need the Dual Rec preset. Up until now, I have been lazy and just made a 2203, plexi, AC30 EOB presets and only been using the poweramp at practice and at home. If it can do it, my Dual Rec and this new preset with my SC20H would be used 95% of the time.

So here is the question. Is there a way for the Stomp to tell the amp, this preset only uses the poweramp only so disregard all those other cables and the other preset is to be full on 4CM. Do I have to turn off the outputs in poweramp preset somewhere like global settings? I noticed some of the factory presets are labled 4cm:name, EFX:name, etc. Is there a preset type you pick upfront that I am just not seeing?

I would love to have only one preset that I can turn off the effects loop on the Stomp with a FS, but I dont have enough blocks and probably DSP using the Dual Rec + SC20H in the effects loop.

A preset with an fx loop block for the SC20H preamp and a Dual Rec block where you use a footswitch to bypass one of those blocks at a time should do the trick.

The fx loop block uses less than 2% of the DSP and is a must to achieve your goal of one preset for both the amp's preamp and the Recto model.

I'll see what I can do, I may not have enough blocks to make it happen. My DR preset set up with compression, boost, and an EQ then the out splits where I can run direct to FOH with an IR and also to poweramp, but that will get me moving in the right direction.

That worked surprisingly well once I hooked up the cables properly. It only took my 3x, lol! It's a little more hissy than usual, but that is to be expected I guess. I'll experiment with the input noise gate a little to see if I can tame it without affecting much.

Now it just down to dialing in the levels that sound best. I'm probably going to do this with all my presets once I get this one dialed in. I use 5 for the songs we do but I'll be able to cut down from 5 to 3 since DR and JCM800 will be on the same.

Thanks for the help!
