Purchased his book Guitar Player Guide To Guitar Maintenance...when I was in my early 20s

Was literally my bible forever until it disappeared. I love Dan.

Yes! He had that cool shop in Big Rapids back in the day, before moving to Texas permanently.

Now it's a world renowned Luthier School run by one of his former students/apprentices. They
do workshops for hobbyists, too. Pickup winding. Amp building. Guitar setup and maintenance.

Very cool place in our area.

Don't get me wrong; Stew-Mac is good stuff, and I have a ton of their tools. But it is expensive.

Just like Snap-On.
