We are on an east coast trip with my wife's family, my brother in law just got married in Pittsburgh, PA and we're staying at his wives house in Ohio through the Thanksgiving holiday. Yesterday my wife took the girls to the Science center and I took my son to the RnR HoF center.

6 floors of exhibits and gear. There were voting kiosks for this year's enductee - Iron Maiden is in the lead so far.

I think the most fun was the Garage. They had an area where you could plug in various electric guitars and basses into interactive learning stations and learn to play. There were piano and drum stations as well. My son had a blast playing on a real kit (he spends a lot of time on his electric kit at home).

They had an acoustic room with ukes, guitars, and a bunch of comfy couches, and an interactive jam room with a list of songs to jam on - screens with charts and lyrics. My son didn't want to leave this area at all - it was the first time he's ever gotten to really jam with other people outside of family and I think he's hooked! There was a guy named Omar in the jam area who's job it was to be there and host - sounds like a dream job if you ask me!

If you're in the area and have never been, you should make it a stop!

Great pics! My wife and I had a great time there around ten years ago. Would love to make another trip.

It is pretty powerful to look at these amazing things/artifacts in real life. I remember looking at John Lennon's hand-written lyrics for Strawberry Fields Forever and a pencil sketch that Hendrix had drawn of his father. It reminds you that all this incredible music and culture was created and written by actual people, human beings. We kind of get used to it always being there, as if it was always there, like mountains and the sea, but people had to actually write and create it.

Epic! That looks like a blast, Alex. How great of you all to be able to do such an epic trip
and then include a stop there. Super fun and exciting! :beer
