R.I.P. Anthony Jackson

I was just talking with someone about his playing in The Wiz soundtrack on Sunday. Absolute monster of a player.

He’s one of those guys who, even if you don’t know his name, you’ve heard him play a thousand times. His resume and discography are insane!

His playing is one of my favorite things about the early Al Di Meola albums. I’ve been listening to Elegant Gypsy all week
