Playing 7 dates at Sturgis… what modeler??

So I’m doing a bunch of shows at Sturgis as well as 2 in MI.

I’ll be the Malcolm for the band Noise Pollution and then Ace for one KISS gig. Backline is provided but nothing has been relayed as far as what that means.

Debating between the QC and HX Stomp XL…

leaning towards the Stomp…

I’m mainly bringing them as a “just in case” if the amps are less than ideal and I need a quick alternative.

Also… this dude is singing for the AC/DC stuff… GOOD LORD!

This will be my first Sturgis and first time playing with these bands.

@JerEvil, given that those are essentially one-tone gigs, either is fine for vintage Marshall-y goodness. I might lean Quad Cortex over a Stomp XL just for instant access to more parameters to tweak on the fly for the room.
 
Do you have both modelers already? Need anything other than a basic tone with a few effects? Hard to beat Stomp in that use case.
