Released today. I suppose it was inevitable! 😩

Looks like an interesting evolution or twist upon the original the Klon design, all the same.

It is an "adaptive overdrive" pedal. This new design allows the Halcyon to adapt its voicing in response to pick attack and volume changes, making it "one of the most dynamic and interactive overdrives out there" - allegedly.

The Tube Screamer/Klon variation is a tried and true winner so I’m not surprised to see them continuously popping out, especially with boutique builders. While those two pedals don’t interest me much, if Lovepedal said they were going to do their own take on a Fuzz Face or Big Muff, I‘d buy either in a heartbeat because I’m a Lovepedal fan that’s also into those pedals.

I would have scoffed at this stuff before getting a pile of dirt pedals and realizing it’s like IR’s and porn; you gotta check another one out in case it’s better than the last one before you’re finished the task/building a preset/wiring a pedalboard. There’s tons of overlap, but that little variation might hit the right spot for ya.

No exact Muff variant that I know of (Super Sic Tone probably the closest to that), but the Lovepedal Dragons
are a variation on the Fuzzface circuit. He's made both a Si and a Ge variant. Hard to hunt down, though. And not
sure if one has been put up during any of the Sales recently.

Sorry, not sorry. :beer

For me, this goes into the Carr amps tone pile.
That Clean control adjuster would be my problem.
Getting way to micro with the dirt.
-I like being on this side of the dirt!
I did play the Origin Halycon green pedal.
The modified setting was KILLER for a tube screamers
-& I don’t do Tube Screamies’.
