I've been in a slump for quite some time. It always happens after I get into a band that doesn't work out. In an effort to improve and get out of the rut, I've signed up for online guitar lessons.
I'm using my iPhone and either FaceTime or Skype to contact the teacher. I want to make sure that I'm not tearing his head off with a brittle, sharp sound due to the crappy microphone on the iPhone and I also want to hear him when he is talking to me from about 4' away from my ears.
Has anyone found a decent solution to getting the "mix" correct for FaceTime lessons?
