Been looking around for another quality superstrat to take on the road with me for different tunings. Couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, but I got close. Made an offer I thought would get rejected and she took it the next day, didn’t pay anywhere near the list price.

Suhr Modern, roasted maple neck, ebony board, alder body, SS medium frets, 10-14” radius, 3 way blade and a couple EMGs. Man these things are SOLID. This isn’t going to beat out my Caparisons but it’s right up there. I see why these get the love they do, fit and finish are excellent, nothing is wonky, everything exactly as it should be. I was kind of excited to not buy another black guitar lol

Anyway, 9/10. Based on this, you can’t go wrong with a Suhr. This thing is crazy good.

Yeah it’s a 57/66 set. Not my favorite but I have an 81/60 set in 3 other guitars including an 81 in my #1, so I’ll let this chill for a bit. Thanks man!

Man, if I were going to go for a really nice guitar around that price point, I’d most likely skip right over Ibanez and go right to Suhr at this point. Congrats, man!! I’ve never played a Suhr I didn’t dig right away and after seeing some of the above and beyond stuff that Suhr has done for customers they’ve proven themselves as ‘one of the good ones’.

Congrats! Nice guitar! I am a big Suhr fan. I have a custom built Modern with a set neck and a carved top that has a really nice quilt top and matching headstock. I have a custom built Standard that has been one of my main guitars (top 2) since I received it almost 10 years ago.
