New ENGL Steve Morse Signature 20 amp

That's cool, I used to have the full size head, absolute monster of an amp

I will say it's a bit disappointing they didn't include the "mid matrix" split low and hi mid controls, that was one of my favorite features on the 100w

I watched Henning’s video earlier, and that amp sounds great.

Is there a similar non-sig Engl head, or is this one pretty unique to the line?

Watched Brian Wampler’s video earlier. Looks like a cool amp. Nice feature set and great tones!

Idk anything about this mini version, but the full sized Morse was pretty closely related to the invader IIRC

ENGL just released this little amp! It looks like the Ironball SE but it sounds very different! I like it!

Let me f’n guess, he uses IR’s for the demo?
ALL beats are off.
Do not believe that is what the amp will sound like.
When did the truth become toxic?
Hard pass with the YT’er’s with the typical face bait coupled with the finger pointing at the amp.
I thought we were past the lunchbox fade?
Save your money for the killer’s, too much killer stuff to pluck from.

-if the treble control is so powerful and really opens up the amplif’toaster…,
WHY do you have to turn it to 3o’clock
to wake it up Jon??, hmmm.
That means it’s inherently dark & compressed
with a distant presence to the sound until you drive herds of treble through the preamp
and Steve finally wakes up?🤔
Unfortunately Jon, by that time..the boat has left the dock.
Better off with a good modeler plus goodies in that price range, you could have a beefy bad to the bone modeler set-up/rig.

Damn that's harsh.

Here's another demo With Steve Morse, which appears miked still sounds great IMO

To me it sounds a bit too dark and smooth for my tastes, but I guess that works for Steve
Yes, the top end is very smooth! By rasing the treble you can make the upper mids quite a bit more aggressive though

Probably similar to Bogners in that regard. I don't really like this because it makes half of the treble knob basically useless.

Hello! We have a winner. Also, Friedman (cough-cough.... sneeze-cough).
