I watched Henning’s video earlier, and that amp sounds great.
Is there a similar non-sig Engl head, or is this one pretty unique to the line?

I loved this kind of feature on the Yamaha DG80. Separate low/high mids or parametric mids should be more common on guitar amps.I will say it's a bit disappointing they didn't include the "mid matrix" split low and hi mid controls, that was one of my favorite features on the 100w
ENGL just released this little amp! It looks like the Ironball SE but it sounds very different! I like it!

Damn that's harsh.Let me f’n guess, he uses IR’s for the demo?
ALL beats are off.
Do not believe that is what the amp will sound like.
When did the truth become toxic?
Hard pass with the YT’er’s with the typical face bait coupled with the finger pointing at the amp.
I thought we were past the lunchbox fade?
Save your money for the killer’s, too much killer stuff to pluck from.
Jeez that's
Damn that's harsh.
Here's another demo With Steve Morse, which appears miked still sounds great IMO

Yes, the top end is very smooth! By rasing the treble you can make the upper mids quite a bit more aggressive thoughTo me it sounds a bit too dark and smooth for my tastes, but I guess that works for Steve
Probably similar to Bogners in that regard. I don't really like this because it makes half of the treble knob basically useless.Yes, the top end is very smooth! By rasing the treble you can make the upper mids quite a bit more aggressive though
