I've had a Fender Champion 40 and a Mustang GT40. Pretty much all I've had, so I ended up getting an Amp Sim so that I could:
1. make my rig more portable, and
2. have access to multiple amps without spending 2 million dollars

With the new pedal releases, which of them would you get?
- It's worth mentioning I'm planning to go stereo and that you should exclude budget from the topic.
- I'm willing to pay for any of the ones I've listed. Purely sound-based opinions needed

PS: I have an Octafuzz which I'm selling. Should I get the Eons by Walrus? Found a really good deal at $120.

Also, any thoughts you have on my plan?

My Signal Chain:

Hotone > Tuner > Empress > Eons / Octafuzz >>> Longsword > Katana Clean Boost > Loop Switcher (> EQ >>> Small Stone) > MC6 > Warped Vinyl >>> Gen Loss MKII > Ditto+
- I have all the pedals except the Ditto+, Loop Switcher, Longsword, and Eons. Canvas Stereo will be last.

How are you monitoring things?
Right now I'm listening through Adam T5Vs, and AKG Studio Headphones. I will soon be buying a headrush "FRFR" 112 mkII for gigs and band practices though. I have my studio monitors and headphones connected through a Volt 476 Audio Interface at the moment.

Dill or sweet pickles?
It probably flew over my head but, I'm not sure what this is getting at
I can't believe I had to GPT that but, yeah it is opinionated, just curious though since I don't have access to any of these pedals here. Stock is incredibly ass, and the only thing I can do to test them is by buying them. If I don't like them, I'd have to sell them, which is why I made this post.

Metaphor went over my head

lmao but yeah, I replied above to fuzzy ace regarding how I'm monitoring rn if that helps

If you're set on getting a headrush 112...it really doesn't matter what amp sim you are using.

Also -- we've got ZERO context here in terms of sounds you are shooting for, amp types you hope to use, etc., so its really hard to give any advice.

Personally -- the Walrus was fine within its range, but felt like it was under gained, even after the first firmware update. I find the Simplifier stuff to sound like ass in demos, and folks around here whose ears I trust and have had it in person have felt similarly. I imagine the Walrus, Strymon and Boss IR-2 are in the realm of "personal preference", and theToneX stuff offers a whole lot of variety but also a lot of trial-and-error. Why not try the Tonex software demo first to give you a sense of whether you need more/"better" amp sims than what you've got now?

Thanks. Sorry I didn’t make it clear. I’m going from Tomo Fujita clean to John Mayer overdriven, to Mateus Asato, and even Megadeth. I kinda want a pedal versatile enough to nail all those tones down. I listen to so many genres that I kinda shift around a lot, so yeah. I’ll try out the software, thanks again.

Sorry, am I being a dumbass? It’s also 5 am so if I’m writing like one, it’s because I am one at the moment
Just answer whether you prefer dill or sweet pickles. It makes no sense...but is what it is.

If you need that level of versatility, then out of the options you list it seems only the ACS mark II (maybe), Boss IR or ToneX will deliver.
