Absolutely didn't see that coming. But I still prefer a single set of white box models vs sifting through endless versions of the same damn amp, just captured differently. The next year or two is gonna be nuts, lemme tell ya.

Given the Stadium move, this is impossible for Fractal to avoid - and I'm willing to bet Stadium Proxy will support Full NAM as well as L6's proprietary system - this announcement as good as locks that in.

Parametric captures is the next stage (@ArteraDSP is already doing it) - and you shouldn't need thousands of captures to do it either. It's just needs a nifty UI.

Yeah I mean NAM support is cool. I still can't imagine a world where the modeling isn't the main draw of a FAS unit. NAM is a neat addon tho.

I'm more nervous about the entry price of an Axe IV than anything

That doesn't change my Stadium purchase plans at all, but it is definitely a changing of the guard.

Interestingly enough, capturing being on a fractal device is about the least interesting feature that I can imagine them adding. The existing library of models already has virtually everything most people could want.
