Definitely hot rodded Marshall territory imo. However, im really enjoying the clean and crunch channel so it does have flexibility. To get hard rock/ metal tones you definitely need to boost it. I've been searching for a hot rodded Marshall and I'm really enjoying it so far! What do they sound like? I tried one in a store like 15 minutes ago, and remember not liking it, but I think I was chasing something that these amps don't do.
Lol, my post originally said that I tried one "15 minutes ago", that should have been "15 years ago".Definitely hot rodded Marshall territory imo. I think that's what I was looking for, some type of Marshall-y mid gain, but I just didn't like the flavor of it. Oh well, this was also the same day I tried a few Oranges that also did not sound good to me, so, maybe that shop just had a bunch of beat up amps at the time.
Hmmm I think previous given it's not on their product line at the moment? I think it came out in 2016ish?Is this the current or previous generation? Regardless, sounds like it's a killer amp!

I'm going to try and dabble with a tone x capture at some point
I'm hesitant to share this because I don't personally think the capture came out great, but here's a direct capture of my Lynx X 40W:
Still a fan! It does that hot rod Marshall tone very well but it very versatile as well.
