[NAD] Ceriatone JCM51 All Access (Heyboer OT) + extras

This thing's been on my mind for a while now and finally arrived.

It's got a custom, smaller headshell as I wanted a compact packaging.

It's got the Heyboer OT and, upon my request request, Nik also added a few tweaks:

- 3-way slope resistor (33k, 47k, 56k) which is mounted on the back panel
- their JTM45 power trannie for a higher B+ (450V or more)

Just unpacked the thing and took some snapshots; need to let it warm up a bit to fit tubes in, bias & test.

But just looking at it, it's sexy AF - definitely the Goldilocks form-factor for me.

Tubed-up, biased & rocking.

That slope resistor makes a huge difference:



- First segment: UP position
- Second segment: MID position
- Third segment: DOWN position

They're not marked so I don't know (yet) which position corresponds to which resistor value (33k, 47k, 56k). I've asked Nik to confirm.

Settings as shown below. On the back, I have the NFB switch in the middle and using FULL power mode:

Fuck yeah!!! Congrats!!!!

There’s a JTM45 All Access (I think) FS locally but I’m intentionally not looking up clips on it because I need a high gainer for the next amp. And actually, think I may have changed my mind from getting a Mesa to getting the Ceriatone King Kong, which might actually be the dream amp I never knew existed.

Pretty killer having all these options available in a handwired amp that doesn’t break the bank!!! Anxious to hear how you’re enjoying it as time goes on.

It sounds freakin juicy - really looking forward to spending more time with it.

The King Kong is a really overlooked amp; it's a Yeti (savage amp) with a Plexi channel.
