I'll use this thread and post updates as I keep building tracks.
What's that heavy bass tone Geo. has in the beginning? A 1-octave down effect. I threw a Waves octaver VST on center track.
In most areas the guitars are quad-tracked (2 L/R Plexi, 2 L/R Rockman). Sometimes (beginning) a center track too.
I've laid down all rhythms, a couple guitar theme parts, light mixing. There's still a lot of work to do.
Guitars: Gibson CS SG Custom (rhythms), Charvel So-Cal (leads)
Pedals: Wampler EQuator (Volume cranked, bass/treble cut, mids @ 723Hz a la Tube Screamer)
Amps: '68 Plexi circuit, Rockman Sustainor
Cabs (iRs): York Audio Fane 50W, Celestion 25W Greenbacks
