The onboard sounds weren't jaw-dropping. The guitar as a guitar sounded pretty damn good. I wonder if you can have the pickup modeling without the amp/fx modeling and how good that experience is. @2112?

I think it looks great as well.

You can disable the effects and just use the pickup modelling. I think they're just straightforward eq matches though, and they don't sound quite as convincing as what something like the Roland SY/VG does.

That's what I figured from your video. It's a step in the right direction at least as far as guitar tech is concerned.

Over at "The Other Plaice", I made the following comment about my GTRS Standard, so I'd say you are spot on!

Ultimately though, it's a £300 guitar, with a £250 modeller inside it, and I paid about £450, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Definitely interesting. Leon Todd is an outstanding musician and reminds me of Pete Thorn in the sense that anything they play simply sounds fantastic. Love to watch and hear both of them demo new gear and share their thoughts. I respect both of them immensely.
