Whether you like Sleep Token or not, this is exceptional.
I think it's Mixwave's best drum vst yet.

27 gigs of both processed and unprocessed sounds. Suitable for most genres.
I'm a drum vst fanatic and this library along with the incorporated mixing tools topples a lot of other products.

I still haven’t picked up any of their kits and I have so many already it’s impossible to justify more. But then I hear their demos and go….. damn, they sound amazing. Looks great.

Take the plunge. I think this package is better than the Mdl vst. Not quite as feature rich as something like bfd or sd3 of course but the samples are outstanding and mixer is fairly good. I would rank it with Room sounds Kurt Ballou vol2.
The tci and midi files are great too

I really love the Kurt Ballou stuff. Fucking great.

I am quite intruiged by the Sleep Token lib. Not a huge ST fan though!

Yeah I’ve got MDL, Counterkit, M&M2 and a bunch of other GGD. Also got sent Deviant drums I need to spend more time with, but yeah I’m not really a ST listener but these do sound great

Can I ask a dumbass question? How does one program their drums? Mouse and keyboard? Midi?

I know I can look it up online but for the sake of forum discussion 😂 I've always wanted to try but it seems daunting

Ive got a midi piano I can use but most of the time im doing it in midi (usually just find the kick and snare placement that I’m going for). I usually get basic grooves down and then augment or replace it with groove packs for the final version, helps a lot with “realism” and extra hits I don’t have a drummers brain to write from scratch

Add the drum plugin to an instrument track in your daw of choice.
use the integrated midi editor in the daw to find out which notes map to what sound.
Once you know those you can manually click to add notes, add midi groove files, edit those files, use a midi keyboard to record the notes, use a roland kit to to do the same...or a mix of all of the above.
Endless possibilities

basically always using toontrack grooves, i’ll use their search to find something close and then edit the notes around a bit in that to what I need. Basically trying to preserve as much of it as possible ”performed” by a drummer if I can.

If you start doing it enough, just grab a cheap all in one drum trigger pad and you can tap out each drum’s part.

Alternatively, most DAWs have an audio to MIDI or basic sample replacement feature at this point. Set up a 57 and record yourself tapping on your desk, convert it to MIDI.
