Fan of matching headstocks? Or is it, too, shaggy for you?

I have grown to really love a matched headstock. Thought it
might be a fun thread, and give others a chance to show off
theirs. Mine are below.

And yes, we shall all keep our pants on..... and up. :cheers

Those two both look amazing!

I don’t know why, but I just don’t like matching headstocks on Fenders. I love them on other guitars, but not Fender.

The only combo I like on a Fender is a black headstock, but only when the body is black as well (I love your Tele :love)

I can’t stand things like this:

Oh man! That's where I drew my initial inspiration was those vintage JMs and Jags, Met. :love

Why you making my sad like this?? I was doing so well, too.

I'd love to have a CAR Jazzmaster with a matching headstock. Someday. :beer

Don't listen to him! Jaguars and Jazzmasters can look great with matching headstocks!

Haha, sorry to be a downer!

I don't even know why it is, just something about it on a Fender. Any other guitar it’s fine.

I remember as a kid seeing a mid 60’s CAR Jazzmaster with matching headstock in a local shop for $700

Haha! No need to apologize, Met. I still like you. We all like what we like. There's more than
enough diversity in the gear and music environments to go around, and for each of us to
find what lights our fire. :cheers

Still seems like maybe older Jags and JMs are some of the best vintage guitar values out
there. Not that $10K-$20K is chump change.

:chefDooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!! Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!! :banana

You two are just twoooo nice :chef

See what I did there? Probably not, I have a bit different sense of humor, in case you never noticed.

I've learned sooooo much from both of you, I bow like the weak (but constantly improving) guitar player that I am. But my gawd, I'm sofaking happy that I finally buckled my lazy ass down.
