1/4 inch all the way. 1/8 inch jacks and hardware always feels like they are waiting to break. I also use the Hx headphone out with an extension cable and have no issue with the current placement FWIW.What's everyone's take on 1/4" vs. 1/8" phone jacks? 1/8" makes the most sense on something like POD Express—where people aren't likely connecting their Sennheiser HD800s—but it is 1/8" better or worse for something like HX Stomp?
But what if it had a little lid you could close? If there’s anything I absolutely don’t want, it’s a top-facing 1/4 jack on the unit for some asshole (probably me) to dump a beer into.
Ah, I see. My bad.His post is a bit awkwardly written, but he’s saying 1/4” because it’s far easier to adapt a 1/8” plug to 1/4” than it is to step down from a 1/4” plug to 1/8”.
What's so funny, @timbuck3 ? Do you not think the channels functionality on Fractal is useful? Oh, that's right. You've not actually owned a Fractal. Or actually bought anything else. It’s weird that Fractal is the only one to get this right, with the channel functionality.
What do you mean? I would expect you can use snapshots to change channels and set them to whatever you want.Nope, only feature you can’t footswitch, gotta load the same model 3 times.

Yes, I would imagine so.With Agoura models that have multiple channels, can a foot switch be assigned to toggle between settings?
It was a joke. Why would Helix Stadium have less switching options than Helix? If the channels are are control in the amp they can definitely be mapped to Switches/Snapshots/Control CenterWhat do you mean? I would expect you can use snapshots to change channels and set them to whatever you want.
I never joke around. It's some kind of joke you're making here, isn't it?
Good luck buddy. My wife’s been barking up that tree for 15 years. But what if it had a little lid you could close?

The channels appear to just be another parameter, kind of like if you want to toggle back and forth between the low and high inputs on the 2203. Totally doable. With Agoura models that have multiple channels, can a foot switch be assigned to toggle between settings?
Right? We all know headphone jacks GO ON THE BOTTOM of the floor unit.Good luck buddy. My wife’s been barking up that tree for 15 years.
Are people seriously advocating for headphone jacks on the face of a floor units though? That seems insane. Are there even floor units like that?

It would be such a huge epic fail moment if you couldn't, that I simply cannot believe it. Pigs are putting on wigs and screaming Swahili insults at me in my dreams before this weird ass limitation occurs in reality. In some of the touchscreen videos you can see the channel change when dragging the cursor in focus view. I’m only speculating but I’d be amazed if you couldn’t for this reason.
