Let’s talk amp racks

I’ve got a handful of amps. One combo and a bunch of heads. I’m thinking that an amp rack is in my near future. I have a deLisle switcher but I often need to get behind the amps to switch impedance or hook up the effects loop.

What are you guys using that makes it easier to get behind and make changes?

I’ve had some chrome versions for decades around the place but they don’t have wheels so thought I would take a punt at that price 👍
Turned out it was money well spent and ordered another 👍
I’ve got two excellent Bugera tube Heads Both fell off a 4 X 12” cabinet stack a few years ago with no injures .👍
Still working great.👍
Do you live in the middle of nowhere or use a attenuator ?

No attenuator, and I have neighbors both sides but I've never had any complaints. The jam room is in the basement, so it's not that loud outside.

Cut some plywood slats and fit them to your shelves. You are going to damage the rubber feet of your amps otherwise having them sit on the metal bars.

I'm not worried about the feet. They're rubber and are also easily replaceable. However, the wire is rather flimsy, and as such, the amps are a bit wobbly on the shelves. I plan on cutting MDF shelves, flipping the wire shelves over and fitting the MDF shelves inside the wire shelves. No rush though. It's fine as it is.
