Hey dude’s, y’all know I’m a Lenzehead,
I’ve been excited for this amp,
-love how it came out.
Listen to the whole video as Eddy thoroughly demonstrates all the tones & feels in the controls
& the channels.
I’m digging the ODS clean bigtime.
There’s a Mid-boost I push-pull,
2 way bright switch, seperate gain control
AND those insane mini-adjuster’s located between channel 1 & Chsnnel 2’s pre-amp control’s.
-listen to how effective & killer sounding those controls are!!!
-Superman changing station🎯

He using a JB for cleans, I’ll be using a 57 Classic.
SO MANY great sounds in this thing.
He plays through shades of the Dumble/Mesa/Fender/Lenz recipe & mixtures
in a sample simple way..
There’s much more including an effects loop with Send control.
Eddy’s loops are top-shelf.
The Reverb organs have been removed, gutted the Reverb.
It’s be too much BOING with the reverb
tank getting battle rammed with signal.

The caption above you posted reminded me
of the ruthless height of action 90% of guitar
luthiers set your guitar action at.
Like, “Come on man, I gotta get up under that bro”..”Damn..man lower that sh*t”
Frothy luthier: “That’ll learn you boy”…

Desperation is the mother of invention.
From that moment, I radically accepted I would perform all set-ups & repairs myself.
The only way to learn is to do it & live with it until I get it right.
Now that frothy dude wants me to set-up his guitar!
 
That simply sounds stupid good.

His sounds are even my go to for Kemper I think I got like 18 of his 25 profile packs.

Dude, I agree, his Kemper Jubilee profiles are sick AF.
He’s the only one outta them all that get’s it.
-with his amps, it’s 70’s Marshall flavor of the vibe
at heart.
There’s “that” familiar baseline tone, so it doesn’t matter where the controls are set, the goods are there for the taking, mine the seams & find it.

Ed, in my costly travels with buying gear and losing money, with the other mod’der dudes,
the core tone of it is pushed, if you back in down, it needs that push to get on the zone,
but’s it’s the wrong zone.
His amps do not do that.
That “pushy’ness” certainly is there amongst those
push/pulls, plenty of useful punch in the grunt,
-like an organic Cameron without AquaNet.
Dude’s near my son’s age so it’s f’n WEIRD man!

Btw, I’m also Jay Strange.
I chose Life Eats Life for a Username because
those sequence of words kept surfacing when I spend rad time with my son.
He questions everything, I taught him that thru Joe Strummer🤘🏻
He’s into a lot of cool sh*t man & has herds of talent.-talent beyond work.

I gotta sum up the moment as simple as possible to keep that real time with him and mentally translocate it into rad time with him.
Plus my life is entrenched in improvisation,
every once in a while..the message gets through.
Mental unison….feeling the unison..riding the beam.
But nothing surfaces unless I’m always eager to
mine the seams as the days go up in a flash Ed.
