No.
84’s & ENGL with that Euro top-end?
No.
Is it a legitimate “Special Edition”?
No.
What..was there nothing special about the“Founder’s”?
How about “Your Edition”?🎯

Those are really cool little amps! The lead channel is so crunchy and it sounds quite big for a small amp.

The naming of the ENGL Amps actually make sense despite what some people are saying. This is the special edition of the Iron Ball. The normal version is much more simple and doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

I have just ordered one of these amps. Has anyone get any recommended IRs for it, other than the 3 that come with it as standard? I currently use the original Ironball with a CaptorX and use pretty much these settings based around a 4 x 12 cab with V30s an SM57 and a Ribbon 121

I paired my FB with a Friedman 412 (V30+GB) which I stumbled on based on the York Audio Friedman pack of that cab. The York Bogner 412 pack is my current obsession. Either should get the job done. (Of course a Mesa 412 would make it happen too if that’s your thing)

Damn, those are a shitload of features.

The more amp companies want to stay in the game and current, the more they’re going to have add some stuff to them that makes them logical to use in non-band applications.
