If you had to pick only one NDSP plugin...

I have test driven Morgan last night and was thoroughly impressed. AC20 was such a touch sensitive little beast and easily my favorite out of three. Other two were ok, i basically ran out of time.

If you were only allowed to take one plugin from Neural DSP, what would it be? What would be the one most versatile?

I am pretty much set on Morgan... just need a little push on the back. ;)

This won’t help but many of them are good , it depends on what kind of tones you like
If you want cleaner EOB
Morgan , Asato, Toneking
If you want the Heavies Gojira
If you want an all rounder
Plini or Nolly ,
If you want a great rock / hard rock pack Soldano

From my time playing then
I did not love Rabea or Petrucci
I did like Nolly , Plini and SLO

If you have not trialed Plini and Nolly I would say do that now 😊

Re:Helix.

Helix stuff does not sound as good as NDSP stuff. I've had both. It just doesn't. And if you don't think so you're fucking deaf or something.

I'm drunk and stoned. Dropping truth bombs. I won't regret this on the morning. No sirreeee.

Edit: By 'stuff' I mean the sound of the amps. Before you come in with, "Helix has better effects."

I know it does.

depends on what you like really.

If you like Morgan, I’d imagine the heavier ones are probably less appealing. Henson has a killer Matchless and 2204. Asato’s Lone Star rules.

Gojira/Plini/Nolly are usually the ones I recommend to start with but they lean a bit heavier.

Well, I'm gonna say the Petrucci one. And I think it's quite versatile, if you're not afraid to dial in the amps in all sorts of ways. And it sounds fantastic. And the effects are great, w/o too many parameters to get you bogged down.

But I have certain musical tastes that may be different than yours.

And I didn't try any others. :idk
