I hope you all don’t mind me sharing one more song?

It seems like nobody else will listen to anything I write and play. You guys are truly my only audience. I hope you all do not mind me sharing this.

If you do listen, I would love to know what you think. Thank you all!

If anyone minds they can suck vinegar sticks. Post away in the clips section and look out for the next Do Something season

You are talented and brave. Don't worry about people on here or in real life. Good people always appreciate efforts and skills. I will listen to it later properly, with headphones.

Thats some serious shreddage, awesome playing man. Reminds me of some Blessed By A Broken Heart, 80s metal with droplets of 2020+

Wow!
Great playing!
I'm not usually one to sit through a whole shredding song, but the musical arching really works for me.
The drums seem a bit overcooked to me, you might want to gently reign in the brass a bit, if some constructive criticism is allowed.

Sounds awesome! Great playing. If you're not getting enough traction online with solo recordings, maybe forming or joining a band is the way to go; with your skills, the only barrier is finding people who can keep up!

Yeah, I stopped playing in the band that I was in. It just wasn’t doing it for me musically anymore. The guys were great, and the material was pretty good. But they did not want to expand to any new material.

I just felt like I was stagnating there. I have had offers to play bass in a couple of bands, but I prefer playing guitar. I just think it would be the same thing playing bass, I just wouldn’t feel fulfilled musically. I have had zero offers to play guitar though.

Again, I thank you all so very, very much for the kind comments. In many cases, far too kind!

I so appreciate you guys listening and taking your time to comment. It truly does mean a lot to me personally.

Another good thing to do is to think like an actor. In that profession in the US, at least, unemployment rates are upwards of 90%. What kind of optimism does it take to continue in the face of that? I think often about a quote from Ben Affleck, which, to paraphrase, was that the most important skill to be successful in his field is to be able to handle rejection. I also think about the line from Limelight by Rush "put aside the alienation and get on with the fascination." Now, these are tangential to your situation, but I think the common theme is to center yourself and hold on tight until you can make something happen.

We've got at least two extremely talented musicians I know of commenting right here, @Ed DeGenaro and @2112 who are testimonies to the fact that you can make a career happen even in the musical world as it exists today, so I have hope that if you just hold on and keep trying, you might be able to get where you want to go.

Amazing playing.

Reminded me of hearing Runaway by Bon Jovi for the first time. Beautifully written OG content.
