Well, I did it. I finally built a partscaster...
A local guy was selling a stewmac kit for just over a bill a few months back so I scooped it up.
Like most kits it came with subpar hardware and questionable pickups, so I went shopping on guitarfetish and bought some black staggered locking tuners, better nut, and black Bridge w/ a brass block. Also put in a set of Fishman Fluence pickups.
Tru-oil w/ black grain filler for the finish
It was my first attempt at a full fret level, crown, and finish too. It went very well and she plays great!
