Help Please?

I'm not really sure where to put this. But I need help wrapping my brain around this.

Here is what I want to do. The left side of my workstation desk is my analog side. It's where my tube amps reside.
My signal chain right now is as follows.. Guitar to the Kahayan amp/cab switcher, out to the Two Notes Torpedo Live with the out from there going either into a rack mixer to DAW or to a Cab.

What I want to do is rout all the amp's effect loops thru a switcher that I can patch a multi effects unit into and have effects on the selected amp in use.
KHR makes a unit that does this but it's silly expensive and never in stock..

I'd think you can place it after the Two Notes and go into the mixer/cab from the GXC?

I don't know? That was my initial thought but, would that place all effects (these will all be time based) behind the speakers? The GXC will accept line level power so that's not an Issue.

So, are you suggesting a signal path of two notes out to fx unit to switcher to rack mixer?

Yep, while it sounds odd in the context of effects loops, it's exactly what gets done in studios when adding effects to an already-recorded guitar and it's how everything is done in Fractal land, as you can't separate the preamp from the poweramp in the models.

Not quite getting the fine, ugly details, but:

Why can't a simple rackmount patchbay work?

Of course, you'd have to manually patch things (your amp fx loops) as needed (but could keep the multi-fx item continuously connected in the same jack/s on the patchbay, or vise-versa).

(BTW, saw the cool "Le Studio" sticker. That's where Rush recorded many killer albums, as I'm sure you know)

A patchbay like this one (does normal, half-normal and thru / TRS or TS):

It's cheap, well-made (I have one myself) and has a ton of expansion room. Even has the switches on the front so you don't have to dick around.
