Helix Snapshots: Is there any way to disable a specific parameter control from expression per snapshot?

After 3.80 I'm having a weird problem, but probably weirder that I didn't have it before. It actually makes sense that the "problem" is the expected behavior

I have an expression pedal, normally all the way at heel position, that controls the level of Return 2, which comes from my Mooer poly keyboard pedal. Sometimes I like to mix it in with my normal signal, and that's what the pedal is for

However, I have a Snapshot where it is supposed to have the keyboard return up full and not to be turned down by the pedal. I do have the expression pedals set to "per snapshot" but still a little accidental bump could and should turn that return down to minimum. Is there a way to bypass that pedal's influence for this one snapshot?

Not in the unit itself. Daisy-chaining a external amp switch in series with the expression pedal might work. I can't test this - I don't have a Helix.

I wonder if I can’t make a gain block that’s exactly upside down controlled by the same expression pedal to counteract a t
Yes, theoretically that works if you also add a boost by the negative minimum level.
E.g.: if you control the return level from -120 dB to 0 dB and add a 0 db to -120 dB gain block you also need a 120 dB boost.

Ok, the two volume pedals didn;t work, BUT: A single volume pedal saved at 0% volume, and bypassed or not with snapshot automation then the send to the keyboard fixed volume but also turned on or off with snapshots, seems to work fine. Testing all cases now

I LOVE how Helix is like a trainer workstation for problem solving. Great for budding programmers
