I like it! Never tried a Polara. Kim is a cool dude too.
I've always like the Starfires though. An old friend had a '59 Starfire that was :chef.

:love

I can definitely see myself picking one up down the road. Sold my '61 SG Reissue so have a spot
open for an SG-style guitar. Fairly priced. Rosewood board and cool Phase switch for the pickups.

Good choice. I hope you can share your performance when you get one.

Interesting choice to do the signature model now, but better late than never. It's actually fairly affordable too.

love the shape. not a huge fan of black and gold on a SGs but the white one is super hot.

I've been wanting to get another S-100 for nostalgia's sake. I stupidly traded my original for a Blues Jr. back in 95. Trying to decide if I should get one of the new ones or get a vintage one I found for $500 more? The vintage looks to have some finish issues on the back of the neck.

No longer a dilemma, the vintage is also missing the binding on the neck. That's just a little too beat up for me.

Played one of the new black ones today. Felt very familiar. Pretty much what I remember my 73 felt like. Had it plugged into a Blues Jr. with a clean setting. Pickup too had the sound I was expecting. Especially liked the neck pickup. Need to sell some of my less used guitars so I don't feel guilty buying this one.
