GT-1000 vs Helix Harmonizer

While I am pretty happy with my Gt-1000, the GT 1000 core's limitations have made it a lot less useful around the school for regular show duties than I had hoped...I feel bad using it as a doorstop or putting it on craigslist, so I thought maybe I'll pull the harmonizer duties away from my Helix and open up space for Poly Capo instead of Simple Pitch for my downtuning.

I got the MIDI stuff all working the way I want, and being able to pick the key on the Core by switching presets instead of needing 11 of each of my basic helix sounds is actually awesome

But

The GT-1000 tracks pitches absolutely horribly compared to Helix! I am sending it a clean signal, right from a send before anything else in Helix and its baaaaaaad....Any tricks for making this thing track better? When it somehow does play the right note, it sounds fine to me

The Helix has the best pitch shifter in the business imho. The gt1000 does a lot well, pitch isn’t one of them.
