Fender AVRI II Owners?

Anyone buying these?

The AVRI, AV, and AO series received such broad praise but I see very little chatter around this series so far. I’ve been considering chasing one of the 1963 telecasters if they do an FSR run in one of the cool metallic automotive colors (maybe LPB or Sherwood Green) in 2024.

For owners, how are the necks? Has Fender stuck with the chunkier profiles they were using on the 2013-2017 AV series or reverted back to the thinner 2000s AVRI specs?

Thanks. That’s what I was hoping to hear. I’m hoping they are a bit closer to the later AV series over the older AVRI stuff, not that I have anything against the older stuff, I just prefer the chunkier necks and more aggressively rolled fretboard edges.

My AV 52 tele is a work of art. Would love to round things out with a 60s tele of similar quality.
