Dimarzio HSH

Looking at putting together a strat pickguard. Currently have chosen dimarzio alnico II pro in the neck and Norton in the bridge. Which rails strat PU would be good for middle? Middle will only be active in postions 2 & 4.

The Cruiser is an excellent middle pickup. And it's bright enough to keep positions 2 and 4 snappy. Adjusting pickup heights is so crucial in those positions too.

The Cruiser is a great pickup but if you want great quack in 2 & 4 positions, I would put an Area 67 in there.

Areas are great, I like a 58 in the middle too. But the OP did mention rails.

Cruiser neck or bridge and I was also looking at Fast track 1

Fast Track is nice too. Admittedly, I've only used one in the bridge position, but there's no reason it wouldn't also be great in the middle.

I did see that. I was just speaking in terms of pure tone. Rails I would probably go Cruiser neck.
