Dimarzio Gravity Storm

I am thinking of putting a Gravity Storm in the bridge of my Strandberg Essential but not sure what neck pickup would work. My go-to is the 36th neck but I have that in a bunch of guitars. Maybe an Air Classic or?

My impulsive response is the Gravity Storm neck, since I have a pair in an RG and I adore the sound. But both the 36th and Air Classic would pair great with the Gravity Storm.

I'm also gonna add that an Air Classic bridge pickup, flipped in reverse makes an excellent neck pickup.

Maybe an Air Classic or?

I've been thinking of getting one for neck too. Get it before me so you can tell me about it.
I'd be pairing it with FRED which I think should be just fine. Honestly, having pickups with different tonal characteristics is a plus to me, as long as the volumes of each are setup to transition well.

I was curious about these for a while as it seemed Vai addressed some of the overbearing mids of the Evolution with it, but I haven’t tried one yet.

I like the idea of the Air Classic bridge as a neck bucker. How is it different from the 36th neck?

FWIW, I ordered an Air Classic neck and got it in red to go with the Fred. Curiosity got the best of me...
