DiBiQuadro Mars800

Hi everyone,

Last week, we released a new amp sim called Mars800: http://dibiquadroaudio.com/product/mars800/ .

It's a fairly advanced simulation of the Marshall JCM800, allowing circuit modifications at preamp level and featuring non-linear convolution in the poweramp/cabinet section.
In addition to the original circuit, we've also included the #34 and #36 mods, each offering three modes: Classic, Modern, and Extreme.

This is our seventh plugin – in previous years, we released five amp sims and a Pultec simulation, all with customizable circuits.

If anyone is interested and wants to check it out, we'd be very happy to hear your feedback and have a chat!

Looks very cool! And the sound samples are excellent - able to clearly hear the guitar. In a mix it’s important but for evaluating this type of product I prefer the guitar on its own.

Thank you! All the samples on the page were made exclusively with guitar, DI, and Mars800.

I'm pretty sure the "Metal" samples (the ones with artificial harmonics) were made with an EMG85 in the bridge position, while I believe the "Hard Rock" sample was made with an 81.
I think the crunch samples, on the other hand, were made with passive pickups - DiMarzios.

The cabinet (PwrCab) is mostly 1960AV with Marshall Vintage speakers

In all seriousness, these days you have to sign up for pretty much every freebie already, even more so for paid products. Which is getting long in the teeth already. Hence I'm not signing up for a demo version. Those should be a single click download.

I understand what you mean...
The TRIAL versions – by our choice – have all features enabled for 15 days. Making them available for direct download would mean being certain they'd be pirated and circulating online within less than 24 hours from the release.

On the other hand, once installed, Center retains the user credentials (on client side), so there's no need to re-enter them.

Doesn’t everyone have a secondary email for registrations anyways?

Not just one. Doesn't matter, though. And I think it's not in favour of the companies, either. Download -> install is quite something else than registering, clicking a confirmation mail and what not.

Here some audio sames - pt2:
