Looking at a new portable Audio Interface.
As my "benchmark" I looked at the specs of my FM3 - which I consider feels and sounds and outputs great etc..... its AD SNR / DA SNR is 114 db in each case
The audio interface I am looking at has an AD SNR of 115db and a DA SNR of 120 db.
Question
=> how - if at all - does this "extra" 5db of DA Output SNR impact the tone / sound of the processed audio being sent out ? ie: is it a case of more output with less noise ?
=> at these levels of DA Output SNR of 115db or more, is the more sound relative to less noise even realistically humanly discernable ?
Thx
