I’ve tried the usual Klon clones. No such luck. I never “understood” them. I think I finally have.

This one sneaked in my heart and setup. So sweet, I ordered a few more pedals from them (3). The Ponyboy V3 offered me something I haven’t heard in over 30 years of playing. The tone, build and price are astonishing. I have nothing to do with the company or builder. I’m just completely blown away.

If Chellee offers a pedal you might need or want to improve, I recommend most strongly that you check them out, Google it. You’ll notice others feel similar opinions and it’s consistent… gorgeous sounding unique hand built boutique pedals of classic/neo circuits at almost import prices. Five Stars from me.

I’ve used this pedal for about six months now. I still love it and it has worked flawlessly whenever or however used. And I don’t mean functionally but sonically. I ordered another hand built one today before it becomes unobtainium.

I just ordered the Ponyboy V3. You have intrigued me with this one. I definitely don't need it. But I might want to use it. So I did et. Was on sale too! Thanx for the heads up!

Nice! I truly hope you enjoy it as much I do. Along with tweaking the unit’s gain, level and treble, the active bass control allows for tailored use across pedals and amps… Just as the builder alludes to on the web site. What a great price it is currently as well.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it on sale. Talk about timing man. These are my kinda pedals and I’m stoked to try it.

Yah I like my plexis fuming and punching.

I definitely will let you know. These can be great tone and feel enhancers. I mean I can go straight in and find joy too but I really enjoy a dynamic(under the fingers)pedal feeding my amp & adding some mojo.

Right now I have an Archer JB, Tumnus Deluxe, Rook and I'd prolly throw the Blue Note Select in there too even though I read it being slated a blues breaker like pedal. These are my Klon like pedals right now. They do that thing.

Well I gave PBV3 the beans today. Very happy with its tone and feel. Just what I like from these kinda circuits. Touch & feel is at my disposal. And that price man? What a deal for a new kick ass OD that runs like it does. Germanium or Silicon.

you fargin bastiges sucked me in too.

I want to compare it to my critter classic family recipe, which must be outstanding because my keyboard guy said "that sounds really good".
He has great ears for production and also ran his own studio back in the day.

The Odie’s are both great too. I use them as “clean” boosts. The “Modified Odie” sounds a bit sweeter with a nice top end. The “Classic Odie” is a tad more vintage sounding. Note that is using “flat freq” on both and center position on voicing.

Both great deals at about $106. Hand built in the US using great parts.

The PBv3 is buffered and the Odies are True Bypass. Just a heads up for all of you cork-soakers.

I got the modified Odie too. Couldn't help myself. I don't use TS all that much anymore but Im happy I tried it. Any pedal makes me want to romp I'm good with. These pedals are such great deals.
