Cheap short-circuit protection for your hardware

Hi folks.
When you plug your fx processor into poweramp or anywhere it suppose to have some resistance. Usually 1kOhm and more for out/send1/send2/sendWhatever.

Hopefully poweramp usually have 10k or more. But it could be 0. When zero happens your fx will generate high current (as it can cause 0 Ohm bruh!) and could burn itself if there is no shortcircuit protection.

I love my boss (gt 1000 core), so you could love your hardware too.

All you need for start is to install a resistor into signal patch. I put there 1198Ohm (1k2). It doesn’t affect signal on my scope on 25kHz. On 100kHz i see slight desync. And it should to really cut signal on 500+kHz.

So if once i plug my boss somewhere and that glorious well sounding hole has a shortcircuit inside, nothing will happen with my boss.

Idk boss already have that protection, but now it have it 146%.
