Charvel USA production Model refin progress

Just bought a Charvel USA Pro Mod. Made 2008-2010ish. Originally candy blue, but prior owner had stripped the paint and oiled it.

Not a fan so I am stripping the oil and staining it Vintage Aqua.

Theee piece alder body, an excellent neck, and an absolutely wonderfully set up and playing guitar. Totally a steal. Here are some of the before and during pics.

Finished it up tonight. Before and after below. I am pleased with the outcome.

I switched the original toggle to a Dimarzio EP1111 and wired it up with the Ibanez JPM 100 wiring so the humbuckers split coil (inner) at the middle position. That took a minute.
