So after having this excellent device for about five months, I thought I’d try my hand at creating a capture of my Engl Savage 120.
I was really impressed with how accurate the capture method is, it just struck me as so much easier than the Kemper Profiler I used to have, where the results could be really hit and miss. This is pretty much foolproof.
For this mix test of the capture, I used a James Tyler Studio Elite HD-P and ran directly into the Quad Cortex, while the bass was also the QC with a bass preset. Drums are Superior Drummer 3.
