I’m working on a project that requires a few printed parts, but I’m not satisfied with the finish of PLA and other common materials. I’ll be outsourcing the work to a printing service and need advice on selecting a method and material that balance a high-quality finish with sufficient strength. I’ve heard SLA offers one of the best finishes, but I’m concerned about the resins being prone to cracking under deflection.

One of the parts is an I/O shield for an ITX case, which will feature various ports like Ethernet, USB, VGA, HDMI, and power. Given its function, it needs to be durable. Any suggestions?
