Is this what I think it is? The Boss version of Marshall crunch up to Marshall high-gain stack roar? I’ve never tried one in person but found a new one for about $82 new/shipped. This could be fun and a nice addition. Especially if it offers a nice tube stack feel. I’ve tried some products promising the same but costing much more and falling short. I won’t name the products since this isn’t any attempt at a D swinging contest. I’m sure I can flip it for $8 under my cost over a weekend on Craigslist. After fighting the ubiquity of usually high opinions of Boss products for years and being always a bit disappointed, I’m starting to figure that they can deliver if chosen wisely. We’ll see in this case… looks cool to and they color schema is spot on, IMO.

I’ll post my thoughts when it arrives. Unless it is complete junk, I plan to sculpt it with the Ibanez parametric EQ to hit the sweet spots.

Marketed as a Marshal Stack with Crunch up to DSL/JVM. They label the gain knob as “Crunch” on the low end, “Drive” at noon and “Ultra” when dined. If it does that well, a set of dual pot low/high EQ with +/- and mds section with the same and frequency center would be excellent. I’ll use EQ if needed. I think it’s on the OD-200 too and I remember it sounding pretty huge if I’m recalling correctly. Kind of like the Pentatone Ibanez Preamp. More than a dirt pedal… more like a full on amp. We’ll see how it goes!
