Have seen a couple of your typical marketing blurbs on these Bog Street twisted picks on the guitar "magazine" sites.

Does seem like potentially a good idea, guessing I'll try some as I can sometimes suffer from dropitis and/or slipitis :grin , when I'm trying to reduce tension.

Guitar World Review linky

Also had saw these PickTwist Picks before, thought the Bog Street were the same. NO! Now we have two companies that all of the sudden come out with twisted picks, lmao.

Well, I won't be too judgy until I try them.

I'd give those Bog Street ones a shot if I saw them in a store. I feel like it'll be pretty tough to beat the Petrucci picks at this point, that was the first pick that ever felt perfect in my fingers from the second I used it.

The Petrucci picks are awesome. I used those for years and then ended up switching over to the black Jazz III XL, which is pretty similar.

I tried a sample pack from Bog Street a while ago. Most were no good for me.

I hated the BEAST, the grip on it was really awkward.

The Battle Axe where all three sides are the same thickness was cool, I did really like that one. But the ones where one side is thinner broke really easily. The material was brittle and didn’t last very long unfortunately.

The LEAP I didn’t really understand… I think maybe it’s designed to help beginners learn how to hold a pick? It’s massive and awkward and I hated it.

Interesting. Have you or anyone you know printed your own?
These pedals and picks are printed and very grippy .

My son has a good quality 3 D printer and keeps saying he’s going to do some picks for me.😳

3D printed picks seem like they would be terrible. You’d have to do a lot of sanding/polishing to get rid of the ridges. That material doesn’t seem like it would glide well over the strings

This seems pretty convincing:

I guess it would all come down to the resolution of the printer. But yeah, I wouldn’t want to have to sand and polish something I’d likely lose within the first 24 hours.

Look how rough and ridged the texture of those are when they get up close with the camera. And how scratchy that thumb pick sounds on the acoustic.

These look terrible to me

That's exactly why I have come to loathe Nylon picks as an whole. :idk

Save the Nylon for stockings, ripcords, and parachute pants.
