Billy Strings joins Tool for Jambi in UT

This is pretty cool, he learned the solo but did his own thing with it. I dig that they've done this a few times, especially bringing out dudes you wouldn't expect.

Also, that was the most movement there's been on a Tool stage since Maynard tackled that guy.

Maybe it’s just me, but the whole [insert different genre] band does a cover of [insert band name]’s song or joins them on stage is way past being ironic and cliché.

And this is coming from a Billy Strings fan (as well as a recovering Tool fan).

I will say, compared to his flat picking Billy’s electric work falls shorter. I still dig it tho

Eh I don’t think irony is the point but regardless I’m into it lol

Yeah, his tone and touch is really oft-putting for my ears when he dons an electric.

Still a beast, and glad to have him in the world sharing his love of, and passion for, music. :beer

That was odd, but cool.

I'd be juiced, but feel very tiny penis with my combo next to those staxxx

I would absolutely love to stand within the feedback zone of Adam’s rig. The way he uses feedback as much as he does I have to assume there’s a certain dB they know they have to reach to obtain it consistently like that and I bet it’s glorious.
