I've recently started using a Behringer XR18 for my cover band. I'm not curious about the X-Touch controllers for get some tactile faders when in a live bar gig. I see there are different iterations of the X-Touch (compact, mini, etc.). I'm not sure which would be most useful for us. I'm also wondering how durable these would be? Most articles and videos I've read and watched mainly talk about it for studio/DAW use, not live gigs. I guess I'm looking for some advice here. Thanks!

I sold mine a long time ago, but they work fine. I got rid of it because it was too easy for band members who don’t want to learn how shit works to fuck up other people’s IEM mixes. I find having one person in charge of the main mix and taking away everyone else’s options was a bette workflow.

Sold my X-Touch before even using it live. As the bands guitar player / soundman, you're taking double duty and it's another thing you have to connect while the others are picking their noses. The X-touch is a great and durable device but a dedicated tablet is cheaper, no cables (if you charge it beforehand) and can deal with spilled drinks.
