Barefaced have just introduced an active guitar amp module that can be fitted to any of their passive AVD cabs.

$500 for an ice module in a package perfectly fitted to a cab seems worth the asking price.

In the linked video, it is claimed that the amp has a lot of headroom; but if you do choose to overdrive the module it will break up in a pleasing manner and not in a harsh "digital" way.

To me, such a statement suggests that it's not an ICEpower module.

Has anyone tried one of these yet? I’m very tempted to get a 212 upright with greenbacks, a custom Vox grill and stereo, and make it the ultimate AC30 model cab.

Does anyone have any experience with or thoughts on this company? They've just released an amp module for all their cabinets (they offer solutions in the "FRFR" space), and their YouTube videos have always made consider them as a contender: https://barefacedaudio.com/
