Anyone Try the Mooer GE1000?

It looks pretty well thought out from a UI/hardware perspective and the tones in the test videos are as good as anything on YouTube, IMO.

I didn't directly tried it but a couple days ago me and my friend Vincenzo made a livestream where we compared it with my fractal fm9... And expectably it was not a fair comparison. Even though the few amp models we tried sounded good and were not that far tonally from the fm9, the effects on the other hand plainly suck, the difference in quality and sound is embarassing, at least for the few we compared.
The reverbs sounded like those cheap old reverbs you usually find in small mixers, the phaser sounded more like an auto-wah than a phaser, delays were usable but had some pretty aggressive filtering despite low and high cuts were disabled.
Here's the video:

The first hour or so is just talking about hardware and software differences, you can skip that (especially if you don't speak Italian).
We'll probably make a part 2 in the next few weeks.

I mean, one would hope the $1700 would outperform the $600 one pretty handily. Can it do momentary switching?

Yeah, hence the title (David vs Goliath), but on the effects it was way worse than I expected honestly... I remember my old Zoom G1X from 20 years ago having better phaser and delays than those in the mooer.

No idea about the momentary switching, I will ask Vincenzo
