Anyone know if CV is safe with Digitech Jam Man and or SDrum?

Crap, I’m out of town playing with a new controller and thought I remembered syncing the JamMan Express loop pedal with the SDrum….?
So loops were in time with drums etc.
Was hoping to use it with the sequencer in the Keystep 37 as I hate the sound of typical electronic drums. I’m bound and determined to ‘learn synthesizer’ this time.
Im in my fourth or fifth cycle of selling the latest Roland guitar synth shiny object that keeps reappearing and stunting the development of my inner Jordan Rudess. 😂

Looks like the SDrum has a sync out for JamMan. From a quick google, it appears to be a 3,5 mm TRS MIDI out. The SDrum doesn't look like it can be synced to an external source. But hey, this is all from like five minutes of googling and looking at a manual. :rofl

Assuming the SDrum could be used, as master instead of slave, for tempo, the question remains....is "sync' in Digitech universe the same as control voltage? I cant find anything that answers that.

Nah, someone had discovered that the jamman sync out on the SDrum is MIDI. There looks to be some info here: https://music.stackexchange.com/que...nc-a-digitech-sdrum-with-a-boss-rc-300-looper

Not sure what MIDI message it's using for tempo. I also haven't checked if the jamman sync out is simply using TRS MIDI standard A or B, or if it's something else entirely.
