I have no idea why, but I have a hankering to buy this set up. I don’t need it, but I think I’ve wanted it.

If any of you have it or have you used it, I would appreciate any in all comments!

I’m starting to work out playing again. Right hand is a motor, left hand the one that had the surgery on the elbow not so much yet. But at least I can do some legato at a little speed now. I am having trouble with the precision for economy picking and sweep picking with my left hand though. But maybe a new plug-in set will give me a little more inspiration to try to work on things.

Is it still a subscription service?
I don’t know to be honest. I just downloaded the Josh Middleton trial and it sounds really good to my ears so far. I need to check in of that, because I do not like subscription based services.

I think you can buy Amphub outright for $149, but then you're frozen at whatever it includes at that time? Like every update says "free to SUBSCRIPTION users".

Anyway, I really like the Amphub modeling. Sometimes, they don't quite model it 1:1 (e.g. the Splawn Quickrod has the channels of the real amp, but none of the "gears" i.e. gain tiers), but mostly it's realistic and the included cabs sound good with lots of mic options.

If I didn't have Helix Native, I'd much prefer Amphub as an all-in-one VST over say Amplitube from IK Multimedia or Two Notes Genome.
