Anyone have a bass and an FM3 on the latest fw?

Has anyone tried a bass with the VC in the latest FW? I am having the wrestling metal bassist use the VC down a step for our first jam. I tried my baritone guitar through it and single note lines seemed just fine. I would post this question on the FAS forum but I don't want to engage an avalanche of the jump out of the window fodder that pitch shifting discussions start. Not to mention the "THERS NO BASE AMBS" that will surely go along in said avalanche

I haven’t used mine for bass since the latest firmware, but it worked fine on past firmware. It’s not quite as good at tracking bass, but it was good enough for me to drop down a 4th to use a 4 string in place of a 5 string

Nice. I made a preset with the Orange bass amp boosted by the Darkglass and one with just the VC that he can use with the Sansamp he currently uses. The Orange actually sounded quite nice \m/

Trying to homogenize the handful of oddball tunings into a "standard" and "drop D" equivalent took a little bit of brain power. I figured a whole step shouldn't be too big of an ask.
