Any Rivera Knucklehead 55 head owners here?

I have a line on one for pretty cheap. I remember I had a Chubster 40 and loved the clean channel. Looking for real world user experiences. Not a lot on youtube really.

Following Bob's ongoing amp safari and sage be like:

I like Riveras. Excellent value on the used market too. That is a double edged sword if you plan on eventually selling tho

I had one it was a very cool kind of jack of all trades amp , I used it for classic rock stuff , the metal guys would say it needs more gain likely it’s about a cranked JCM800 level
Fender clean channel is great
There are 2 model silver grill and all black the black version has a bit more gain IIRC
Then there is a Knucklehead rev 55 but that has a lot more gain

Those are sweet, and by sweet I mean totally awesome.

No really, it's a damn good head.

Good to know thanks. This one has the silver grille/black control panel.

That Ninja boost will kick ya in the balls in the best way possible

Awesome. I cant wait to try this thing out. Seller says he will hold it til I can get to him. I hope he's being honest. Me when I sell something it's first come first served unless it's a friend or family member. it's my B-Day week so wifey is making an exception. We are going to be moving to NC so I have been on a strict budget.

the guy ghosted me. Dunno if he changed his mind or sold it to someone else.
Shame, mate.

Good friend has owned his since the mid-nineties. Not super high gain, more like a classic Marshall (very dynamic) plus the Fender clean. Good loop, flexible.

Don't know why Rivera's don't get more love.
