Amp in the Room IRs

No word about how these IRs were taken.
IMO, the only way to get proper "amp in the room" IRs would be to take the room completely out of the equation. Why? Because you will end up playing them through a certain cab in a certain room. Hence, these two are adding their own ITR properties. And because of that, you would want to feed your system without any additional cab/mic/room properties. The only IRs getting close to that would be far field (completely reflection free) IRs taken with a neutral measurement mic. And even then the position of the cab in relation to the mic while shooting the IR would still be relevant.
Now, perhaps it'd be possible to create/capture Amp where I'm at IRs, but from all I think, it'd only work for one single FR system and the differences their room properties between the original cab and your FR monitor would have to be calculated and burnt into the IR.
There's no single IR on earth that would make your 12" FR cab sound like a 4x12 played in a room. It's just not possible. The best result you might possibly be able to come up with using such an FR cab would be a 1x12 guitar cab. And even that would certainly left something to be desired due to the pretty different acoustic properties of the two.

In a nutshell: Even if these IRs sound pretty great (I'm going to try them out in some minutes), forget about them to make your FR monitor sound like a real cab. Snake oil.

And fwiw, just for the fun of it, I just snagged two portions of his video ("standard" IR vs. their ITR versions) and used Logic's Match EQ. Managed to make them sound incredibly close. So it's very likely exactly what I suspected, just some "nice" EQing applied.

Sounds like aa gratuitous amount of EQ was used to shave off the highs and lows. Nothing novel here

This is what Logic's Match EQ looks like (standard IR portion of the video as a target, the Amp where I'm at thingy as source):

Some (typically pleasant) low mids added, harsh highs cut. Yeah, the game change is real.

Tried the 4x12s. Super boomy. If you fire them up in your live rig, be prepared for a very unpleasant surprise.

HX Grammatico GSG with a blend of cabs (Mandarin 30 and 4x12 Greenback 25, a combination I found to work well, also snagged an IR of that combination, no lo/hi cuts) vs. the glorious ITR IR (4x12, the one labeled BLK). Two bars each:

Seriously? Harsh, boxy and boomy - yeah, that's an achievement for sure.

I've never been able to get A.I.T.R. tone with any IRs through "FRFR". It always sounds artificial in the end.

In the end, I've just resorted to a few lightweight 1x12 guitar cabs - it's worth it. The difference in tone is remarkable and a world apart.
